Along the coast, you’ll find countless campgrounds and RV parks with hot showers and Wi-Fi. The Oregon state parks are a great place to start your search. Spots like Fort Stevens State Park and Beverly Beach State Park offer everything from primitive tent sites to yurts and RV sites with full hookups.

Limited overnight camping available starting June 9th. Some day-use areas and parks are open as of May 6.

After purchasing our travel trailer, we purchase several camping books for Oregon. This was the best of the bunch, easy to follow by region, `tree' rating, and a good description of what you'll actually experience at the campground.

A great reference; and a must for anyone wanting to explore Oregon's campgrounds/5(5). Southern Oregon Coast. Located near the town of Coos Bay, Sunset Bay State Park is bordered by the soaring, rugged cliffs that make this part of the Coast so breathtaking.

Choose from 65 tent sites and 30 full-hookup sites, with a trail network that connects to Shore Acres and Cape Arago state parks. Take in the wildflowers, epic ocean vistas and views of nearby lighthouses.

Oregon Coast. If you want to visit the Oregon Coast with an RV, you need to plan ahead. Ecola State Park, for example, offers stunning views of Haystack Rock and the wild beauty of the coastline, but you’ll need to camp in nearby Cannon Beach or Seaside.

When traveling along the Oregon Coast, I’m always happy to camp at one of three large RV campgrounds. The incredible Oregon Coast has so much to offer. Beautiful views, bays and beaches. Oh and camping. Join us as we share "a few favs" ~ a few favorite RV.

It is one of the few campgrounds on the Oregon coast with an ocean view, perched above the North Jetty of the Siuslaw River. Harbor Vista is located 3 miles north of Florence on North Jetty Road. As the only Oregon coast campground located in the midst of a city, the lake is a center of summertime activity.

The park is nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the acre Devil's Lake. You'll find the campground on the west shore, and the East Devil's Lake day-use area just down the road. The park features boat moorage slips. Hit the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area for campgrounds and hiking trails along the river.

Located in south-central Oregon, Crater Lake National Park hosts the deepest lake in the United States. For a real visual treat, head to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area near the Idaho border. "Go to the top and view the most Amazing view from the historic look out or hike down to a giant spruce tree through a magical forest, check out the Spouting Horn on high tide or venture down to Thors Well on a low " "For a peaceful contrast, continue on to Cape Cove Trail, Captain Cook Trail, Oregon Coast Trail, St Perpetua Trail and Whispering Spruce Trail which is an easy mile loop.

The 5 miles of beach available here don't hurt either. The campground is heavier on the tent side of things and offers tent spots, but there are also 21 yurts and plenty of RV options as well.
